What is Margin?
Margin is what is left for investment or distribution to the equity Partners. It is all revenues (fees and etc.) less all expenses, including all salaries, except Partner compensation. What is left is the Margin (the amount available for Partners for distribution or reinvestment in the business). Margin % is Margin as a percent of revenues.
